Martha Mills, was just 13 years old when she died at King’s College Hospital in London in 2021.

SLOW member Merope Mills, Martha’s mother, writes for the Guardian and in the article, she describes the shocking mistakes made by the hospital that ultimately led to Martha’s death.

Merope speaks of the “blind faith” she had in doctors and learned too late how to save her child’s life. She hopes her daughter Martha’s story might change how some people think about healthcare; it might even save a life…
