Like many small charities, SLOW has been impacted by the cancellation of fundraising events due to Covid-19.  In response, we’re joining the 2.6 challenge and hoping that our members and their family and friends can join us in raising funds for SLOW with their inspiring events from this weekend.

The 2.6 challenge has been set up by the London Marathon organisers as the race (also 26ish miles) is not going ahead this Sunday – the 26th April.

We’d love you to fundraise for SLOW by creating a personal challenge based around the figures 2.6 or 26.

So, you could do 26 cartwheels, 26 laps of your garden, a 2.6 mile / km run or walk, 26 minute of yoga or pogo’ing, or just run up and down your street 26 times!

Be creative the challenges are endless!   It’s open to anyone of any age, sibs included, and the only requirement is that the activity must follow the Government’s guidelines on exercising and social distancing.
